Early Bird by Period #
When we receive an offer with a booking limitation, that traveller has to confirm the booking before a particular date. Then that offer is known as the Early Bird offer.
For example Book on or before 30/9/2022 for the stay between 1/11/22 to 31/3/2023 will receive a 20% discount on base rates.
As you can see in the above example, a traveller can avail offer if he/she books the offer on or before 30/9/2022.
Let’s understand, how to load Rolling Early Bird offer on the WSTT system.
Steps:
- Go to Smart Promotion > Add > Fill details >Save
- Click on New, a pop-up window will appear
- Early Bird Type: The system default as Early Bird Period
- Minimum Stay: The minimum number of days to get this promotion.
- Book from Date / Book to Date: Validity of booking period to entitle to avail offer.
- Stay from Date / Stay to Date: Validity of staying period. That is check-in and check-out day.
- Application For: That check box give the flexibility to select the bed type which will be applicable for this promotion.
- Day Flag: Allows to give discounts based on the day(s) of the week within the stay period. If ticked it will be active.
- Rate Code or Promotion Code: If any, as per contact rate. Max characters will be 15. It will display on the Hotel Booking and hotel voucher documents.
- Currency: This currency comes from the Hotel profile default currency set up, and to avoid any error, it should be similar that the Hotel & Allotment Rate V2.
- Discount: The discount type can be Amount or Percentage.
- Discount Rate: Based on the contract rate.
- Costing & Selling: The selling will follow the costing automatically. But if the user wanted to modify the selling, they can do it manually on the selling box.
- Update: To save or update the existing file.
- To exit from the page, click Close on the top right corner.
Rolling Early Bird Offer #
When we receive a booking condition on particular days prior to arrival. Then that early bird offer is known as Rolling Early Bird Offer.
For example: If booked 30 days prior to arrival for the stay between 1/11/22 to 31/3/2023 will receive a 20% discount on base rates.
As you can see in the above example, the book by the condition is limiting the booking by 30 days prior to the arrival of a traveller.

- Notice Day: This is the minimum number of days that a booking can be created in advance to be entitled to get this promotion.
