Travelex needs to input a cancellation policy based on the contract rates. So that when the agents cancel their bookings on the B2B, the agent will be charged based on the policy that has been set up.
Steps to update cancellation Policy: –
- Click on Hotel Cancel Policy and a new window will appear.
- Then Click on Add the update the new cancellation policy. If you want to check or edit any entry, then for that fill in the required field and then click on Search.
- Fill in the required information like the hotel, Room Category, Date band, Cancel Days, and Meal Type and click on the search icon.
If you leave the room category as none, you didn’t need to input the meal type since the cancellation policy will apply to all room types and on all meal plans.
But if you have specified the room category, you also need to input the meal type in case you have the room category with different meal types.
- Select the charges. There are 4 types of charges: –
- Per night per room (a set amount of night charge)
- Per cent (set per cent)
- Full charge
- Non-Refundable (set 999 on cancel day(s)
- Then add the policy description in the given box and will be displayed on the front end.
- Then click on “Save” to Update the new data and if you want to copy your cancellation then click on “Save as”.
Note: – If your cancellation is the same for some date bands then update it once then change the date and click on “Save as” to copy the cancellation.
