WSTT – Free of Charge or Bonus Night

An offer with the condition of staying minimum nights in a hotel and receiving a free night as a bonus night.

A FOC (Free of Charge) or Bonus Night is a promotion that will allow hotels to have a sequence of free nights between periods.

For example: Stay for 5 minimum nights and receive 1 night free.

As you can see in the above example, the hotel is providing 1 night free out of 5 nights’ stay.

Let’s understand, how to load Rolling Early Bird offer on the WSTT system.

Steps:

• Go to Smart Promotion > Add > Fill details >Save
• Click on New, a pop-up window will appear

1. FOC Type: Predefined by Sequence Night 
2. Book from Date / Book to Date: Validity of booking period entitle to avail of the offer. 
3. Stay from Date / Stay to Date:  Validity of staying period. It is check-in and check-out day.

• Charge Type: It is a list of the preset conditions of charge type to be applied on the promotional free night.
  • Compulsory breakfast on a free night (surcharge applies if any): Check if the meal is free on a free night. All the other supplements will be chargeable.
  • Free Night does not include breakfast (additional surcharge applies, If any): Check if the meal is not free on a free night. All the other supplements will be chargeable.
  • Free Night includes breakfast (If book room includes breakfast) (additional surcharge applies if any)
  • Free Night NOT includes breakfast (additional surcharge applies, if any)
  • Free Night NOT includes breakfast (no additional surcharge applies) 
  • Noted that the breakfast of adult and child will be taken from Hotel and Allotment Rate V2

• Application For: The check box gives the flexibility to select the bed type which will be applicable for this promotion.  
• Rate Code: If any, as per contact rate. Max characters will be 15. It will display on the Hotel Booking and hotel voucher documents. 

• Max. Night(s): This field is used in case of cumulative nights. For example;

• if “0” the free night will be repeated unlimited time. 
• if “2” the number of the free nights will be applicable only twice. 
• if “4” the number of free nights applicable will be only 4. 

Example: Max Night = 4, FOC Count = 4, FOC Free = 2 

If 22 days stay (1), the number of free night (F) will be Max 4 nights only:  1 1 1 1 1F 1F 1 1 1 1 1F 1F 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1

• FOC Count: Number of Nights to be charged. For example, Stay for 5 nights and Pay for 4 nights. Then in such case, 4 nights would come under FOC COUNT.
• FOC Free: Number of discounted nights, For example, Stay for 5 nights and Pay for 4 nights. Then in such case, 1 night would come under FOC FREE.

1. Costing & Selling: The selling will follow the costing automatically. But if the user wanted to modify the selling, they can do it manually on the selling box.  
2. Update: To save or update the existing file. 
3. To exit from the page, click Close on the top right corner.
