Although you can find different typologies of offers to upload, all of them share some common configuration settings and others that are more specific to each offer. The specific configuration settings will be explained in another section.

All initial configuration requires basic information, which is the same for all offers. Therefore, independently of the offer you wish to configure, we may find the following fields:

Some of the blank spaces are configured by default. You only need to remember that the spaces which are marked with (*) are mandatory. We want to highlight two of them:

Priority #

This field shows the order of application of the offer, just in case we have configured two offers for the same period. In this case, if we only want to apply one of them, it will be applied that one with the higher number in this field.

Example: we have created 4 different offers for the same period without priority (priority 0 for all of them):

As we have all the offers with the same priority for the same period, our system only will apply one of them. The offer that will apply always will be the last one that we have created (if we have created all the offers on the same day, as in our example, it will apply to the most recent). In this case, the Offer is 5%.

Check-in dates and booking stay dates #

This is a mandatory field (*), but you only need to fill one of them.

  • For check-in dates

In this case, the offer will apply only if the check-in date belongs to the range that you have configured. You can configure a unique range or select different ranges:

Example: we have created an offer for September:

When this offer appears on the Offers List that we have already configured, we can appreciate that the field “Dates of the Stay” is empty because we haven’t configured that field:

When we make a search on Call Center, we can see that check-in day belongs to the period that we have configured. So, the offer applies:

On the other hand, if the check-in day doesn’t belong to the period that we have configured, the offer won’t apply:

  • For booking stay dates:

In this case, the offer will apply between the date range that you have configured. It can be a unique period, or you can select different ranges:

Example: we have created the same offer as the previous example, but in this case on “Booking Stay Dates”:

In this case we can appreciate how on the Offers List that we have configured, the “Dates of Stay” field is full:

When we make a search on Call Center, we can see that the dates belong to the period that we have configured. So, the offer applies:

But in this case, if some of the days belong to the period that we have configured, the offer also applies for those days that are included in that period (in this example only applies for the 1st and 2nd of September):
