In this document, we will explain how the offers are typified and some practical examples of each configuration, so that it becomes easier for the user to perform such configuration and understand its logic as well as how they will affect at a calculation level.
Typology of offers to upload #
When you want to upload some offers for your hotel, the first step that you need to complete comes from the “Supplier Contracts” tab. It is on this tab where you can find the section “Create multi-contract elements” and where you will be able to create the different offers to apply.
If you click on the “Offers” section, the following window will appear, and you will only need to click on the “Create new offer” button and all the offer options that our system provides, will appear:
1. Basic Discount #
This offer allows you to apply a percentage discount or a fixed amount on the booking that you made. Regardless of when it will be booked.
2. Early Booking #
This offer allows you to apply a percentage discount or fixed amount on the booking that you made only when this booking will be made previously to the check-in dates and between the date range that you configured for this offer.
3. Free Nights #
With this offer, you can apply some discounts depending on the number of stay nights. For example, if you book 7 nights, 1 night will be for free.
4. Meal Plan Change #
This kind of offer allows your guests an upgrade for meal plans without additional costs. For example, your guest books and pays for a room with a half-board and for the same price, as an effect of this offer, the hotel offers him/her a full-board.
5. Room Type Upgrade #
This offer follows the same logical methodology of “Meal Plan Change”, but this one applies to room types. For example, your guest books one standard room and, as an effect of this offer, the hotel provides this guest with a superior room type.
6. Offers on Short Stay Supplement #
This offer allows applying a discount on the sales price of the booking or a discount on the stays. It is important to highlight that with this offer all the minimum stay restrictions will be deleted.
7. Free Passengers #
This offer allows adding additional guests to the booking without additional costs.
8. Lower Prices #
The application of this offer assumes that a room or meal plan can be offered at a lower price than the price that appears on the general contracts.
